Product Description

Made from wild Tobasiche agave, this is an approachable yet wild spirit. It features a sweet, vegetal nose with quince and anise, followed by strong minerality and herbaceous botanicals on a rich, dry finish.

About Bozal Mezcal

Bozal (the Spanish word for “wild / untamed”) is a mezcal brand focused on wild species of agave in Oaxaca, Guerrero and Durango, produced in small batches via traditional methods. Sustainability-oriented, Bozal plants two magueys for every one harvested in its wild-nursery programme.

About Mezcal Tobaziche

Maguey Tobaziche is a member of the Agave karwinskii family, a group known for its tall, upright growth and preference for dry, rocky climates. According to Mezcal Reviews and Mezcalistas, Tobaziche often develops a slender, cane-like trunk and can take well over a decade to mature. Because the plant has a dense core with relatively low moisture—similar to other karwinskii agaves—mezcals made from Tobaziche tend to show pronounced minerality alongside herbal, vegetal, and occasionally spicy notes.
