Product Description

A small-batch mezcal made for the Fieles Difuntos celebration by the Monterrosa family in Oaxaca, this is an easy-drinking ensamble that tends to please just about everyone who tries it. It features soft floral notes, gentle smoke, and a touch of citrus and ripe fruit, all balanced by earthy minerality and a smooth, clean finish.

About Mezcales Cuish

Mezcales Cuish is a collective of rural Oaxacan producers crafting mezcal from wild and semi-wild agave species, each plant allowed to mature from six to eighteen years before harvest. The brand emphasises traditional methods and the biodiversity of Oaxaca’s agave landscape, noting that its spirits come from “joyas creadas desde las agaváceas que requieren entre 6 y 18 años para alcanzar su plenitud y madurez.”

About Mezcal Abocado

Mezcal Abocado refers to mezcals that have ingredients added after distillation, such as fruits, herbs, worms, or sweeteners. According to Mezcal Reviews, this post-distillation infusion is meant to enhance aroma and flavor rather than alter the production process itself. Because these additions blend with the base spirit’s dense agave core, Abocado mezcals often show lifted notes—ranging from herbal to fruity or subtly sweet—layered over the natural minerality, vegetal tones, and smoke of the underlying mezcal.
