About Pasote
Pasote Tequila presents itself as a premium, artisanal tequila rooted in tradition and crafted with bold integrity. The brand draws inspiration from the ferocious spirit of Aztec warriors, positioning its expression as a tribute to valor and cultural legacy.
Produced in the Highlands of Jalisco at the distillery of Felipe Camarena (Nom 1579), Pasote emphasizes conventional methods, rainwater capture and small-batch production — a stance of authenticity in a crowded premium-tequila market.
About Tequila Añejo
Añejo Tequila — meaning “aged” — must mature for at least one year and up to three years in oak barrels to earn the designation. According to the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (CRT), this aging process gives the spirit a deeper amber color and a more complex flavor profile than Blanco or Reposado styles.
During this extended rest, Añejo tequilas often develop notes of caramel, vanilla, baking spice, and dried fruit, while still retaining underlying cooked-agave character. Their richness and structure make them ideal for sipping neat, though they can also stand in for other aged spirits in cocktails where depth and warmth matter.
